Koncreto Microcement

Within our portfolio, microcement is the starting point. We proudly mention that we were the pioneers in its production and commercialization in Portugal, launching it in 2008. For years, it was our only product, and it is from it that we built Richimi’s identity. This dedication has given us a unique experience, molding us to the circumstances and contributing to our current leaders in the sector at a national level.

Our Koncreto Microcement is a cement-based decorative coating, designed to create continuous surfaces over large areas, without the need for expansion joints. Due to its high adhesion and versatility, it can be applied on a variety of pre-existing surfaces, making it the ideal choice both for renovations, as there is no need to remove previous coatings, and for constructions from scratch that value durable finishes with strong visual expression.

Available in two different finishes, Koncreto Microcement adapts to the different aesthetics and preferences of each project. The R (rustic) finish is marked by its texture, reflecting the growing trend for materials with personality and tactile identity. The F (thin) finish, the most traditional, is the “living proof” that the classic never goes out of style, and this continues to be the most sought after choice in microcement projects.

Just as the Atlantic sea slowly sculpts the Algarve’s cliffs, drawing unique shapes and reliefs marked by the force and movement of the water, Koncreto Microcement is also revealed through the gesture of those who apply it. Its cementitious base allows the emergence of dark nuances, formed by the rhythm, direction and pressure of the application. Each surface carries its own expression, deep and unrepeatable, marked not by repetition, but by the uniqueness of each intervention.

In addition to assuming aesthetic particularities, its cementitious base also offers functional advantages, such as high durability and excellent mechanical resistance.

Available in 132 catalogue colours and thousands of customised shades, custom-tuned with UV-resistant pigments.

Colors

Color perception in a digital environment is subject to variables such as screen calibration, color temperature and brightness, and can generate significant deviations from reality. For this reason, the choice of color should always be made through physical references. Our catalogue, exclusively physical, brings together 132 colours tuned and consolidated in a real context, representing a truly unique selection on the market. Each shade was developed to ensure chromatic stability, aesthetic coherence and a faithful reading when applied on site. We stand out in a unique way for our ability to incorporate and adjust color to the measure of each project. From universal references or physical samples, we develop shades that are completely customized and adjusted to the desired concept. To date, we have completed more than 5,000 projects with colours created specifically for each context.

If none of the catalogue colours meet the desired one, we develop the exact solution with no creative limitations.

Metodo de aplicação
1. Primer – Koncreto R with fiberglass mesh Application of the first layer of Koncreto R with incorporation of an 86 g fiberglass mesh. This is where the anchoring to the support and structural base of the system begins, contributing to the absorption of stresses and reducing the risk of cracking.
2. Second coat – Koncreto R Application of the second layer of Koncreto R, ensuring the complete covering of the net and the consolidation of the base. This phase is decisive to give robustness to the system and ensure a uniform and properly leveled surface.
3. First coat – Koncreto F Application of the first layer of Koncreto F, where the decorative component begins. At this stage, the fine regularization of the surface and the technical preparation of the support for the definition of the finish are carried out.
4. Second coat – Koncreto F Application of the second layer of Koncreto F, responsible for the aesthetic and conceptual definition of the coating. This is where the intensity of the nuances, the movement of the material and the final visual identity of the surface are controlled.
5. Sealant Application of a coat of sealant with the function of closing pores, evening out absorption and stabilizing color. This step ensures a balanced basis for the application of the protection system and initiates stain resistance.
6. First coat of varnish Application of the first layer of varnish, where the reinforcement of resistance to wear, scratches and external agents begins, preparing the coating for its performance in use.
7. Second coat of varnish Application of the second layer of varnish, responsible for sealing the system entirely. At this stage, the final waterproofing is ensured, as well as durability and resistance to daily use.
